Friday Lunchtimes, from 12am

Anne, Music Apprentice and RSAMD GraduateMusic at Midday is a relaxed lunchtime concert series for city workers, tired mums, a keen regular audience and curious passers by.

Every Friday from noon, we’d love to welcome you to a free recital performed by members and friends of the church. For the majority of this year’s program, we’ve been treated to performances by students and graduates of the Royal Scottish Academy for Music and Drama – a wonderful opportunity to hear the virtuosos of the future without having to pay!

A typical season will include everything from polished operatic performances to dicey piano duets – with room for the odd trumpet and traditional instrument (ever heard a clàrsach or hurdy gurdy?). So whether you’re a dedicated Radio 3 listener, or you’re still missing Wogan, we’re sure you’ll enjoy yourself. Children are welcome (crafts and distractions provided), and nobody will moan if you want to eat your sandwiches! So come when you can, leave whenever you must – and don’t forget to help yourself to some freshly brewed coffee!

Our next season of concerts will be starting in the Autumn, check back here for more details soon!
