St George’s-Tron has links with people and churches all over the world and the international students who attend our services also widen our perspective.
Some of us help out in summer missions in all kinds of places at home and abroad and others are involved in week by week outreach activities in Glasgow. Some of the congregation are also involved with organisations that are taking the Gospel, often in very practical ways, to the developing world.
We have a number of church members or friends of the Tron, whom we support, working in different parts of the UK and the world. Seven of our Gospel partners and their children are working in creative access nations but the others are listed below:
- Caroline Dodds works with UCCF in Glasgow
- Hugh and Maggs McKenna work with Chanan Trust in Glasgow
- Scott and Nok Murray work with OMF at the Kwai River Christian Hospital in Thailand
- David and Julie Rowbory work with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Jos in Nigeria
- Darren and Susan Wall work with OMF in Phnom Penh in Cambodia
- Carol Whipp works with the WEC Neighbours Worldwide in Wolverhampton
